CATT Timer
Overview
The College Admissions Test Timer (CATT) is a new, Intuitive, easy-to-use and highly visual App designed to help improve student’s pacing skills for the SAT, ACT and PSAT.
Timing on College Admissions tests is tight and it is challenging to get the right pace to finish in the allotted time. Students often practice using stopwatches, smart phones or old school timers. Locomedia founder, Mark Loparco, watched his daughter do just that and knew he could create a tool to help her.
Mark designed and developed the CATT app, calibrated to test times by exam and by section. CATT is very visual, intuitive and easy to use, eliminating the need to calculate and do math to figure out pacing against a traditional stopwatch.
Practicing with CATT, Mark’s daughter was able to complete her practice tests on time, gain overall confidence in her test taking skills and ultimately improve her scores. They started sharing CATT with family and friends and based on all the positive feedback, Locomedia is now releasing CATT publically to help other students beat the clock and improve their scores.
CATT is free while in Beta in the App Store or on Google Play.
