The main product of Cloud@Sea is an application that makes it possible to register offshore time and competencies through a personal application designed to be used across all fields operating within the industry.

The design of the application is centered around blockchain technology which makes it possible to safely and efficiently record dynamic positioning (DP) time. The application also has functionalities such as certificate record for keeping with expiry alarms, online application of certificates, FMEA report access for the vessel you are signed on to, view of the IMCA publication, and the building of your own unique CV for printout.

The application aims to be independent of flag, company-recording systems etc. and places the individual at the center. This allows everyone to be the owner of their own register. Furthermore, the application offers the unique possibility of vessel, company, and even third-party online acceptance, and secure verification of entries through the integration of blockchain and smart contracts, thus ensuring that the registered information is correct, trustworthy, and tamper-proof.
