Created by Charlie Lee in 2011, Litecoin (LTC) is a transaction-friendly cryptocurrency that is commonly thought of as the “silver” to Bitcoin’s gold. Litecoin has some key technical advancements that has made it the premier cryptocurrency for payments, namely its fast transaction speeds and near-zero fees.
